ART WOW® is a unique online store supporting artists and designers by selling their beautiful designs on a variety of gifts, homeware and art. We both retail to the public and wholesale to stores!

ART WOW® is run by sisters, Liz and Laura. All products are custom hand printed to order in our UK studio by our all-female team. 

 

WHAT DOES THE ARTIST HAVE TO DO?

The artist simply uploads and posts their artwork onto a variety of products provided, and we do the rest! Each artist has their own shopfront to promote, as well as being a part of the whole site, and gains a cut of each item they sell. They design and create. We produce, package and post!

This is a start-up business opportunity without any of the usual costs, and with everything to gain. We are all about developing artistic talent. We have a ‘strength in numbers’ mentality - just by association, people can discover lots of other original talent at the click of a button, spreading the creative love!

WHAT IF I AM NOT AN ARTIST?
We also provide an instant product personalisation service. Here you can create your own personalised products for instant purchase. Please navigate to the 'Upload and Buy' page on our homepage. WHERE IS EVERYTHING MADE?
Every product is made here in the UK and only printed after it is ordered so it is 100% custom-made for each and every customer. Quality is vital to the team at ART WOW® and we only work with the best technology experts around. We are constantly updating our product ranges and always developing the site to benefit our customers.


HOW TO SELL WITH US!

How it works: You post your artwork onto a variety of products and we make, package and deliver. We both retail to the public and wholesale your products to stores. You recieve a commission on every item you sell! We pay our artists an industry-leading commission rate for each sale of their design. We believe our artists deserve a great rate for all of the amazing and unique designs they come up with! At retail you take 20% of the retail price after VAT and at wholesale you take 10%. In some cases at wholesale commission will be 5% on orders from specific high volume wholesalers. You can see all sales in your earnings page in your account. Artist earnings are paid via PayPal (on the 12th business day of each month) and credited 60 days after the completed (paid) sale of each order.

Activation: All artwork uploaded is reviewed by a team before it goes live on the site to be sold. This process can take up to 24 hours, longer over weekends and public holidays. All artwork not deemed acceptable for the site will not be activated and the artist will be notified via email. A common problem in art work not being activated is incorrect file sizes. Please follow the size requirements found in the guide in your account.

Copyright: All artwork you post belongs to you! You own and retain all rights to whatever imagery you post on ART WOW®.  We only ask for the right to sell your work on our site. All imagery on the site is protected. ART WOW® has a zero tolerance policy for infringement of copyrights and other intellectual property rights.  If we were to discover illegal use of artwork we will terminate your account. We use a low resolution image on the site for shoppers to see. So no high resolution artwork can be taken illegally. For more information please look to our Terms of Service. We ask for no exclusivity.

Your earnings: You can track your sales and earnings in your Account. Artist earnings are paid via PayPal (on the 12th business day of each month. If the 12th falls on a weekend you will be paid the next business day) and credited 60 days after the completed (paid) sale of each order. For wholesale orders, these can been seen in your earnings as 'Pending' status. Once we have been paid which is within 60 days of order date these will move to 'Completed' status. 

Promotion: We promote all artists daily on all our social media sites. Multiple newsletters get sent out to all our customers updating them on artwork, products, trends and artists! We also feature in the glossy’s and papers, as well as various online features.

Promote, Promote, Promote: The best way to get sales and be noticed is to share your store on all of your social network sites i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Blogs. This is your platform for you to endorse and profit from! If you @ us on our social media site’s we endeavour to re-post you to help with your promotions.

How to sign up: To sign up please navigate to the right hand corner and register as a designer. Once registered you can go to your ‘Designer Area’ and upload your artwork. This comes through to us to approve. Once approved your artwork will be live on the site for our customers and gift and homeware wholesalers to buy!

 

HOW TO BUY FROM US!

Customers:  It’s simple; browse the site, add to basket and checkout! We use PayPal and Sage Pay as our payment providers. Both PayPal and Sage Pay accept all credit and debit payments. Please allow up to 5 working days for dispatch as all items are custom made to order. However, if we can get it out earlier we do!
