Chrisa, as he signs his artwork, was born in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Upper Bavaria, Germany, where he grew up „bilingually“ (Bavarian and High German ;-)). He is married and has a daughter, who lives and studies in wonderful London.

After diverse locations, like Nuremberg, New York and Leipzig he now lives close to Cologne, Germany.

Chrisa speaks English, French, Russian, little Italian, Hungarian, Chinese.

He is a passionate designer; broadly experienced in diverse design areas: 

art direction, illustration, cartooning, product design, pattern design, graphics, painting, photography.

Until recently he was head of the design department of Europe´s leading wall covering company. He currently works as content manager, writer and illustrator for diverse clients.

He studied Illustration at Parson ́s School of Art, New York &
Graphic Design and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg / Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nürnberg
