After graduating with a First in BA(hons) Fashion and Textiles at University of Wolverhampton, I set up my freelance Surface Pattern Design company \\\\\\\'Patternorium\\\\\\\' in September of 2014 and joined a business course that specifically aids in helping start up businesses, this has been incredibly useful making sure my company is run efficiently and professionally. Patternorium provides beautiful and decorative Surface Pattern Designs to clients needing unique and exciting product outcomes for a wide range of market areas. We utilise detailed illustrations and traditional techniques combined with new technologies and media to create innovative, high quality designs with personality and newness.

Enthusiastic, innovative and resourceful, with a real passion for pattern and illustration, I am happiest when designing or making. I am especially keen on developing new skills and appreciate a challenge. Which is why as well as running my business I am also now studying MA Applied Art (Textiles) . I specialise in Interior Textiles, but I also have experience in textile design for fashion, fashion design, baby wear, design for hard surfaces, machine and hand stitching techniques, hand tufted rug (using hand dyed and felted yarns), carpet design - including Mira CAD program and photography. As my MA is in Applied Arts I am now expanding my skill set into glass and ceramics and wood.
