Loretta Schauer is a London based artist who has been illustrating children\'s picture books for the past 5 years.
(Her degree was in Dance Performance in case you were wondering!)

In 2011, Loretta won the Waterstone’s ‘Picture This’ competition, and her first picture book was published by HarperCollins in 2012. Since then Loretta has illustrated books for Little Tiger Press, Parragon, OUP, and Bloomsbury.

Loretta loves creating characters and telling stories and is ably assisted by her talented studio buddy Torben Redbeard, (who is also a very fine hamster). She is currently working on a children\'s graphic novel, and her own children's fiction series.
