Hello!

My name's Rebecca Padgham I graduated from Southampton Solent University in 2014 with a first class honours degree in Illustration.

My personal work tends to emerge from and respond to observational studies, notes, to sounds, smells and moving images. I enjoy interpreting these starting points to visually communicate ideas with wit and humour. I often combine my own handwriting with images.

I am passionate about the creative process involved in producing art using a variety of media and enjoy working with like-minded individuals.

My favourite tools to use are quink in a brush pen, 6B or a 5B pencil, coloured pencils and wax crayons, which give my image-making a sense of freedom, spontaneity and versatility.

I enjoy walking, making my own books, playing my violin, going to exhibitions and spending time with my dogs!
