My work combines organic, abstract styles with contemporary and industrial influences. I take inspiration from experimental paintings, junk shop finds and old sketchbook pages collaged together to create clean, bright designs incorporating bold shapes and textures. Living on the English south coast means that my work is often laced with a hint of classic seaside style, whilst an enduring love of Scandinavian design and textiles draws influence from further afield. My fascination with design originated from hours of fun in my mother’s workroom playing with yards of fabric and endless painting and dyeing workshops.
