Retired Interior Designer who has a passion for Art. I now have the opportunity to relax & enjoy Drawing & Painting again.

I was brought up in Chelsea during the 50's & 60's just off the Kings Road a thriving place for new designers - I remember Mary Quant's 1st shop.
Later Kings Road was famous for The Beatles Apple Tailoring & Hair Studio. Tricia Guild of Designers Guild Fame had her 1st shop there.

I went to Holland Park School in Kensington - Home of the first Biba Store. So I was surrounded by art & design but just as things were getting interesting I was 16 & my Dad retired from the Metropolitan Police & we moved to Kent.

I later moved back up here to Essex when I was in my twenties.
