My name is Katie Rudd, and I am an Interior Textiles and Surface Design graduate from Plymouth University. I grew up in Cornwall surrounded by beautiful beaches and luscious green fields which has influenced my design work greatly as I find inspiration mainly from natural forms. As a designer I like to draw from my own experiences, whether it be a cold windy walk on the beach, or a trip through the Somerset countryside on a steam train. My style is very illustrative and I like to start my designs by drawing meticulously detailed imagery with a fine liner pen. My hobbies include going on long walks (whatever the weather), traveling as much as possible and yoga.
