Lauren Peebles is a Scottish artist whose work primarily concentrates on geological references from both the west coast and east coast of Scotland. Her work explores the landscape in an inquisitive and unexpected way. Her process of mixed media adds an interesting level to the work, often using delicate fabrics, stictching, paint, inks and printing to give a different dimension to the somewhat harsh subject matter. Since graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2012 Lauren has gone on to exhibit from Aberdeen to Paris and her work has been purchased for public art collections.
