Miki currently lives in London, but grew up in France with english and Japanese parents.
\\\\\\\"Miki Lowe has recently graduated with an illustration degree from Camberwell College of Arts, but her work does not sit neatly within the parameters of illustration. Her portfolio shows an eclectic mix of prints, paintings, digital manipulations and photographs, with subject matter ranging from the mundane to the bizarre. The magical realist twist to her pictures is appealing, and the development from heavy, almost macabre ink illustrations to delicate, pastel-coloured prints is an interesting one.
